On March 27th, the Second Session of the Third Council of China Light Industry Federation and the National Light Industry Work Symposium were held in Changsha. Newamstar Vice General Manager Si Shuyuan attended along with over 400 representatives and council members from across the country to hear the work report by CCLIF Chairman Bu Zhengfa. They reviewed and summarized the work and main experiences in 2011, carefully analyzed the achievements and urgent issues of China’s light industry in the first year of the “12th Five-Year Plan”, studied and determined the work ideas for 2012, actively guided the industry to accelerate industrial restructuring, promote consumption expansion to drive domestic demand, promote the strategic transformation of the entire industry, and maintain steady and relatively rapid development of the light industry.
At the subsequent Commendation Conference for National Advanced Enterprises with Excellent Performance in Light Industry, as the benchmark enterprise and advanced model in the national packaging machinery industry, Newamstar won the title of “National Advanced Enterprise with Excellent Performance in Light Industry in 2010-2011”.
Since the release of the national standard Criteria for Performance Excellence, Newamstar has taken the lead in establishing and implementing the Performance Excellence Management Model based on the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System. Under the leadership of Chairman He Deping and the core management team, Newamstar has continued to optimize industrial structure, promote scientific and networked corporate management, and drive corporate sustainable development. The honor is an affirmation of Newamstar’s rapid development achievements in recent years, and has further boosted our confidence and courage to make achievements in the “12th Five-Year Plan”.
